Jejemon vs Leet

A lot of people confuse Jejemon and Leet. It is unfortunate as "Jejemon" usually carries a negative uneducated connotation while "Leet" usually carries an elitist techie one.

From what I've seen in the internet, I believe Jejemon is a derivative of Leet. It is Leet Speak + Sticky Caps (widely used during the 1990's) + Excessive letters (widely used in the early 2000's when Filipinos started adding 'h' everywhere).

FYI: Message scrambler supports both.

Can You Raed Tihs?

I found a page that describes a Windows/Mac version that also scrambles messages similar to how Message Scrambler does it for the iPhone. Click here to check it out.

I noticed it also has a feature to 'unscramble' messages using a built-in dictionary containing 45,000 words. This could be a feature I'd like to add to message scrambler although the added 'bulk' (dictionaries are big) may not be worth it. I'll think about it and maybe plan to add it when I release version 2.0.

This is the famous paragraph, shared the world over, that proved how powerful the human brain is. This is also the inspiration for Message Scrambler, an iPhone app designed to scramble apps using this methodology.

Message Scramble will keep the case of the letters from the original message. Thus words like 'iPhone' and 'iPad' will still have the letter 'P' in uppercase and all the rest in lowercase.

I've added a link to the right side of my blog that will lead directly to the Message Scrambler in the App Store. I've also used the same design in an ad I am trying to use to promote my app.

I also plan to create versions in different languages (French, German, Spanish, Filipino, etc) to appeal to people speaking languages other than English. Although the interface of the app is only in English as of now, the app can also be used to scramble messages in different languages. Try it out and see for yourself.

Message Scrambler is an iPhone app designed to "scramble" your messages while still making them readable to people.

FEATURES

Supports two scrambling methods: (1) letter scrambling, and (2) message reversing
Simple and intuitive one-screen user-interface
Quickly copy your scrambled message to the pasteboard, by clicking on ‘copy’
Quickly paste messages you want to scramble from the pasteboard, by clicking on ‘paste’
Quickly clear the message in the edit box, by clicking on ‘clear’

Letter scrambling rearranges the inner letters of words, keeping only the first and last letters in it's correct place. Message reversing makes messages look incomprehensible until the reader realizes it should be read in reverse.
